Our Dementia Services

Our one-on-one support provides clear information and helpful advice to people living with dementia and their carers.
We explain what dementia is and how it can affect daily life – offering practical tips and ways to manage challenges.
We can also guide you to other helpful services. Our goal is to support you in daily caring tasks and to help you plan for the future.

This includes discussions about:
– welfare benefits
– legal decisions like Power of Attorney
– living wills
– helpful technology

We also offer information to people who are worried about their memory, and who need ongoing support to people until a diagnosis is obtained.

Our support can be provided through face-to-face contact or contact over the phone.

We run a number of groups across Derby and Derbyshire, including memory cafes, Singing for the Brain sessions, and carers groups – see our ‘Our Groups’ page.
